Generally there are two main types of Folding Campers available such as folding campers and Solid Wall Folding Campers. Apart from these there are other variants also, but all of them fall into these two categories. Some of these models come with basic amenities and facilities while the others are provided with all sorts of luxuries and comforts. Some of them are made from lightweight materials like fiberglass, canvas and plastic while others are made from durable materials like steel and aluminum.
Folding Campers – They are basically light in weight and smaller in size. It is designed in such a way that its base is made from sturdy material and its upper body is made from flexible material. Due to this design it can easily be folded and erected as and when required. It can easily be towed to the camping site and its tent section can be erected on site.
Solid Wall Folding Camper - They are heavier as compared to the other folding campers and require a heavy duty pickup truck for maneuvering. It is almost like a folding caravan and needs to be transported in a trailer to the campsite. Once you reach the campsite, you have to erect the walls in order to form the camper.
